Your specific floor and the system we install will dictate the type of surface preparation required. However, in most cases, we use steel shot blast which removes the worn, softened top layer of concrete and contaminates in order to produce a good anchor profile to which the new system can adhere. We utilize other methods as well including scarification and diamond grinding.
